Choose from two do-it-yourself landscape options that best suits your landscaping needs: On-site or in-store. One of them is right for you.

Option One
On-Site
Recommended for sectional landscaping -
front of house, side of yard, etc.
- Personal, one-on-one design consultation with creative ideas and suggestions at your home.
- Fill out free design questionnaire available at the greenhouse.
- On-site landscape design recommendations.
- Planting instructions, maintenance, planting and watering guides given upon purchase of plant material.
- Plant material list and suggested additional materials.
- Future savings coupon.
- For a nominal fee, delivery is available.
Appointment required. Fee $45/Hr.
Fee will be more depending on location of site and additional time spent.
Option Two
In-Store
Recommended for spot landscaping projects - entrance, Patio, Focal point, etc.
- One-on One landscape design consultation, and recommendations at Forest Lake Greenhouses.
- Fill out design questionnaire available at the greenhouse.
- Bring photos and measurements of site to our greenhouse.
- Planting instructions, maintenance, planting and watering guides.
- Plant material list and suggested additional materials.
- Delivery is available.
Appointment required. Fee $25.
What do I want?
Some items to consider before our designer meets with you to make the most of your 45-minute design consultation:
- Decide what area you would like to enhance or redesign.
- Look at the area from all points of view.
- Determine if you would like easy-care plants or enjoy a challenge.
- Determine how many hours of sun and shade the area receives on a daily basis.
- Is it a protected or windy area?
- Would you like evergreen, deciduous, or a combination of both?
- Do you want to make a statement or create a foundation for other plantings?
- Are there certain color preferences you are looking for?
- Would you like to screen or camouflage and unattractive view?
